Review : Oriflame Colourbox Lipstick shade Caramel Burst & Cinnamon Frost

Have your ever heard of the brand Oriflame?
Sure, you will not find their products on any drugstore. But, they've existed for years already in many countries, including Indonesia. They sell their products via independent consultants with Multi-Level-Marketing system. That's why you don't find their products over the drugstore counters. Don't be prejudiced against this brand yet, even though they use MLM system, but they have very good quality products.

Today, I will do a review of their lip products, The Colourbox Lipstick in shade Caramel Burst & Cinnamon Frost. Want to know more about these little beauties? Let's check them out!

Colourbox Lipstick by Oriflame - Shade Caramel Burst & Cinnamon Frost

These lipstick comes in 8 shades. The colors are ranging from brown, red, to plum shades. So there are a lot to choose to suit your skin color perfectly. The shades Caramel Burst and Cinnamon Frost that I review are the mixture of brown, orange and red, without any hint of pink/plum color at all. Suitable for any of you who likes warm lipstick color.

Packaging

These lipsticks comes in small black packages made of plastic. The packaging is very light, but considering the price, this type of packaging is very suitable. I love it's small size, suitable for people who likes to explore and collect so many lipstick colors, until we can't completely finish any of the product 😅

Formula and Shades

Left : Shade Caramel Burst , Right : Shade Cinnamon Frost

These lipstick are more of the 'sheen' type. It's sheer, light, and slightly glossy. Good for anyone who wants color to their lips without making it too heavy. But, for anyone who have darker lips like me, these lipstick cannot hide our darkened lip area. But, we can still use them very nicely by slightly covering our lips using concealer, bb cream, or foundation. Or simply use them by layering with any nude matte lipstick/lip cream. I use it by layering with my favorite nude lip cream from brand Make Over, and the result is PERFECT.

The shades are shown in the picture above. Both Caramel Burst and Cinnamon Frost have similar brownish red shade. But Caramel Burst tend to be more Orange when Cinnamon Frost tend to be Red. Both, when combined with neutral nude colored lipstick creates a perfect brownish nude which shows "Your Lip But Better" color.

Price

Now it comes to the price. These lipstick are sooooo cheap, but have very good quality. Their normal price at Oriflame Indonesia site is Rp. 42,900 or USD 3 (according to current rate). Very cheap! And you know what? Only on November 2019, they have promotional Buy 1 get 1! Wow! We buy one lipstick and got another one free. We can also choose any color available for the freebies. Great!

Overall, I highly recommend these Colourbox Lipstick by Oriflame. They're very cheap but have good quality. (Psst, oriflame members can even get lower price than the catalogue price 😉)
